Auto autumn 2020: what's to come

Car fans can look to the coming months with a smile: Numerous models are celebrating their premieres, some are even making their debut on the road.  

The first two thirds of the year are over. But there are still numerous car premieres to come in the last four months. A brief alphabetical overview of the cars that will celebrate their premiere and go into production by the end of December.

Audi: With the Q4 E-Tron, the Ingolstadt-based company will bring a sister model of the VW ID.2021 from 4. In stronger and more beautiful.

BMW: The mid-range coupé of the 4-series will be launched in autumn, and the convertible will probably be ready by next spring at the latest.

Citroen: Crossover style plus coupé elements - the new C4 will set extravagant accents in the compact class from autumn, for the first time with an electric motor on request. From the beginning of 2021, the urban micro-mobile Ami will also wear it under the cube-shaped body. With a price well below 10.000 euros, the City-Flea is intended to revolutionize city traffic.

Cupra: With the Formentor, the sporty Seat subsidiary presents its first independent model. With aggressive styling and lots of power.

Dacia: With the Sandero, Germany's cheapest new car is entering its third round. Flanked by his notchback brother Logan.

DS: With the DS 4, the noble PSA subsidiary will be back in the compact class in the future. In addition, the DS 9 is another upper-class model.

Hyundai: In the Koreans, the new generation of the compact SUV Tucson could go into production this year. The i20 small car can already be ordered, and the new edition will be a bit more mature.

Mazda: The electric city SUV MX-30 is the first electric vehicle from the Japanese. And instead of an extreme range, it relies on design chic and flair.

Mercedes: With the S-Class, the Stuttgart-based company wants to redefine the luxury class in autumn. At the other end of the model and price hierarchy there is a compact electric car with the EQA and a second attempt in the delivery van segment with the new Citan.

Nissan: For a long time the Leaf was alone in the wide hall. In future, the Ariya SUV will help him electrify Europe. Then there is the new edition of the Qahsqai.

Opel: The new Mokka is not only the successor to a successful model, but is also intended to lead Opel into the future in terms of design and brand image - fittingly also with an electric motor.

Renault: With the SUV Coupé Arkana, the French want to compete with the BMW X4. The high-roof combination Kangoo, which is now in its third generation, has long been in a class of its own.

Seat: With the El Born, the Spanish VW subsidiary is bringing the more beautiful ID onto the road. The electric drive is largely identical.

Skoda: The Enyaq iV is Skoda's interpretation of the VW Group's modular system for e-mobiles.

Toyota: The new Yaris has shed its previous honesty. The crossover variant "Cross" is supposed to be even more fashionable.

VW: The ID.3 is slowly rolling onto the road, the crossover offshoot ID.4 is about to start. The Caddy delivery van ensures that the previous core business is not neglected.
