Bremer champion at Flensburg points

Perhaps the police in Bremen are particularly strict. Or drivers are not so strict about the traffic rules. As a point offender, drivers from Bremen occupy a top position.

In relative terms, Bremen is the stronghold of sinful motorists. As an evaluation of the comparison portal Check24 shows, last year 7,2 percent of motor vehicle insurance customers in the smallest federal state stated that they had at least one point in Flensburg. This is followed by North Rhine-Westphalia (6,9%) as well as Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Lower Saxony with 6,7 percent each. The fewest offenders are therefore the residents of Berlin (4,7%) as well as Hesse (5,3%) and Thuringia (5,7%). The national average is 6,2 percent.

According to this analysis, the age group with the most frequent entries are 20 to 29 year old vehicle owners, of whom almost one in ten (9,3%) confirms points in the register of fitness to drive of the Federal Motor Transport Authority. For policyholders over 70 years of age, it was only 3,1 percent.
