Citroen presents the study Spacetourer 9X19 Ë Concept at the Geneva Motor Show (2017. - 4. March 4). The lifestyle van is intended to cause a sensation with its extroverted exterior, feel-good interior and all-wheel drive. Ë stands for a new Citroen label in limited lifestyle editions.
For the body, Citroen decided on the smallest variant (4,60 meter length) of the Spacetourer. Visually, the study should convey a thirst for adventure. This is helped by underbody protection, increased ground clearance, roof rails with a satin finish, special wheels with snow chains and a gray-white camouflage paint.
In the interior, the single piece offers five spaces and a large trunk that can even accommodate snowboards. The seats are covered in two colors with light leather. A large panoramic glass roof ensures a light-flooded passenger compartment. The van also features a head-up display, infotainment navigation system with a seven-inch touchscreen, 180-degree rear view camera, traffic sign recognition, high-beam assistant, lane departure warning, distance cruise control, blind spot warning and collision avoidance.
The Spacetourer concept is powered by a 110 kW / 150 hp diesel engine in combination with a manual six-speed gearbox. The French 4 × 4 specialist Dangel contributed the all-wheel drive. The driver can set various all-wheel drive modes using a rotary knob. (Mario Hommen / SP-X)
