Offspring at Porsche, the new Porsche Cayman, the tin roof version of the Porsche Boxster now had its premiere in Los Angeles.
The result is nothing less than another, extremely hot, future sports car icon.
30 kilograms lighter, up to 15% more economical in consumption and, as before, on offer than the Cayman and Cayman S. The “normal” Cayman is powered by the 2,7 liter six-cylinder boxer engine with 275 hp, the sharpened “S” gets the 3,4 liter engine with 325 hp.
In the case of the S, the sprint to 4.7 is possible in 100 seconds and the propulsion only ends at 283 km / h.
The market launch will be in March 2013, the Cayman costs 51.385 euros and the Cayman S starts at 64.118 euros.
