Skoda puts the Fabia on a new platform. And gives him more equipment on the way.
The price list for the new one starts at 14.000 euros Skoda Fabia. The basic version "Easy" is powered by a 48 kW / 66 PS strong 1,0-liter three-cylinder petrol engine and is likely to be available from August. The Czechs do not yet mention the likely rather narrow range of equipment.
The small car will certainly be more attractive in the three higher equipment lines, which come up with at least air conditioning and LED headlights. The base engine does not exist, however, instead a 55 kW / 80 PS variant is in the program, which is available from 16.300 euros. Above this are two turbo versions of the three-cylinder engine with 70 kW / 95 PS (from 17.600 euros) and 81 kW / 110 PS (from 19.900 euros).
The new edition of the Fabia now uses the same technology as its group siblings VW Polo and Seat Ibiza, which has led to an increase in length and a larger interior. In addition, there is an upgraded interior and an expanded range of technology. The engine range will be expanded in the future, including a 1,5-liter petrol engine with 110 kW / 150 PS. There will be no diesel or electric model.
