Porsche discovers a new sales channel. In the future, you will be able to buy your Porsche online using your mobile device. Available new and used cars from the 88 German Porsche Centers are then available online with just one click.
From now on, customers can complete the essential steps for buying or leasing a vehicle online, regardless of time and place. Only the legitimation of the customer and the final conclusion of the contract will initially continue to take place on site at the Porsche Center. To date, more than 4.000 new and used cars are already available online.
"Nowadays, customers move as a matter of course between the digital world and physical commerce. Our new digital marketplace meets this need and makes the experience of buying a vehicle even easier and more convenient. We will continue to expand our digital ecosystem overall and, in addition to vehicles, we will also offer Porsche-specific mobility products and services worldwide", says Detlev von Platen, Board Member for Sales and Marketing at Porsche AG.

In future, those who are interested will find their way to the Porsche site www.porsche.com and the Porsche Finder under the “Buy online” category their new vehicle. There you have the opportunity to reserve your dream Porsche. Payment is then made as a cash purchase or as a leasing option. If the customer would like to trade in his used vehicle, he can also submit initial information online.
The payment process is supported by a flexible end-to-end solution that ensures a seamless and convenient customer experience and secures sensitive data. Porsche customers can use the existing payment methods associated with the Porsche ID to reserve a vehicle.
The online offer will be further expanded in the coming months. In 2020, the Europe-wide rollout for the online purchase of a Porsche vehicle is to take place.
