With the e-NV200, Nissan has been offering a handy van for a couple of years now, with both cargo space and space for up to 7 riders. At the Nissan Futures 3.0 event in Oslo, Nissan has now unveiled an important technical update for the combination of Van and Transporter. With an 40 kWh battery, the e-Transporter can now, according to NEDC, travel distances of up to 280 kilometers.
"With its longer range and excellent charging capacity, the new e-NV200 with 40 kWh battery is the perfect transport solution for urban delivery," says Gareth Dunsmore, director of electric vehicles at Nissan in Europe. "Given the huge impact that parcel services and commercial drivers have on air quality and traffic conditions, especially in cities, reducing CO2Emissions make an important contribution to a more sustainable future. "
The Nissan e-NV200 with 40-kWh battery can be ordered from the end of the year as box van, Kombi or Evalia, the market launch in Europe is scheduled for April 2018.
