Erlkönig of the large e-SUV from Volkswagen caught

Our Erlkönig hunter has new photos of the Volkswagen ID.6

The upcoming ID 6, which will also come as the electric ATLAS or a completely new name “E-Tiguan” in other markets apart from Europe, is based on the Group's modular electrical construction kit (MEB). 77 kWh battery packs are housed in the floor; they are known from ID.3 and ID.4. In a further stage, the large SUV is to receive 110 kWh batteries. The smaller version has a range of around 450 kilometers according to WLTP, the larger battery probably allows more than 600 kilometers. Basically, the ID.6 comes with one electric motor per axle and thus as a 4motion - the VW all-wheel drive term. The performance of the electric motors is certainly based on that of the Roomzz study. They offered a system output of 306 hp. It is not officially confirmed that this has not yet reached the end of the flagpole and we suspect power levels up to over 400 hp.
