It doesn't always have to be a special model to refresh the Cinquecento. Fiat relies on music.
For the new model year, Fiat is expanding the equipment lines of the 500 and Cabrio 500C. In addition to pop, lounge and sport, Star and Rockstar are now two other comfort levels to choose from. Prospective buyers have to invest at least 16.790 euros for the new variants. As usual, Fiat charges a surcharge of 2.600 euros for the corresponding convertible lines. The price includes free access to the Apple Music streaming service for six months.
Both equipment versions have the Uconnect 7 infotainment system, among other things. It enables the integration of smartphones using Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Standard equipment also includes 16-inch aluminum frames, a 7-inch color display, special seat covers, a height-adjustable driver's seat and a fixed glass roof for the Fiat 500. Fiat has also added new metallic paint tones for customization. Customers can also choose between two different colors for the dashboard color scheme.
The basic engine for the new equipment lines is the 51 kW / 69 hp 1,2-liter four-cylinder. For the 0,9-liter two-cylinder turbo with 63 kW785 hp at least 18.290 euros will be charged. The price list for the Basis-500 starts at 12.990 euros.
