After the sedan, the Fiat Tipo with five doors and a large tailgate comes onto the market, also at a bargain price: it is available with the 70 kW / 95 PS petrol engine from 14.990 euros. Standard features include air conditioning, radio (MP3, USB), central locking with remote control and six airbags.
The design of the Tipo hatchback is reserved, but not arbitrary, the interior looks simple but solid. The trunk holds 440 liters and can be expanded by folding down the rear seat bench, which can be split at a ratio of 60:40. There is a choice of two petrol engines and two turbodiesels, each in versions with 70 kW / 95 PS and 88 kW / 120 PS. The prices of the small diesel start at 16.990 euros.
Optional extras such as leather seats, navigation system, adaptive cruise control or city emergency brake assist are available. The Tipo limousine is available from 13.990 euros, the station wagon that comes on the market in September should be just under 16.000 euros.
