For prices starting from 12.950 Euro stands from July the Ford Fiesta at the dealer. The three-door base version of the small car is powered by a 1,1-liter three-cylinder gasoline engine with 51 kW / 70 PS. The surcharge for the five-door is 800 Euro. Features in the entry-level "Trend" include front electric windows, central locking and a speed limiter. In addition to six airbags, a lane assistant and a hill-start helper ensure safety.
Alternatively, two further equipment levels can be selected, the luxury line "Vignale" as well as the sporty variant "ST Line" will be submitted in autumn. Until then, most customers should drive best with “Cool & Connect”; the equipment line offers, among other things, radio and air conditioning, the price list starts in connection with the base engine at 14.900 euros. The top line is initially "Titanium" with an upgraded interior, sports seats and 16-inch wheels. At least 17.050 euros are due here, the smallest available engine is the 1,1-liter petrol engine in the more powerful version with 63 kW / 85 PS. In addition, two 1,0-liter turbo gasoline engines with 74 kW / 100 PS and 92 kW / 125 PS are available. Alternatively, there is a 1,5-liter diesel with either 63 kW / 85 PS or 88 kW / 120 PS.
Compared to its predecessor, the Fiesta has become slightly more expensive. So cost the cheapest version so far 12.500 Euro (44 kW / 60 PS) and had a slightly better features (including leather steering wheel in series). In the more powerful variants, however, there are some slight price reductions in return. For example, the 100-PS variant now costs 15.100 Euro instead of 15.300 Euro. (Holger Holzer / SP-X)
