Ford is upgrading its mid-range Mondeo series and the technically related Vans Galaxy and S-Max for the new model year. The 2,0-liter diesels are now up to 0,4 liters more economical. For example, both the 110 kW / 150 PS variant with manual transmission and the top version (132 kW / 180 PS) with automatic in the S-Max only need 5,0 liters of fuel.
As of now, the new generation of the communication and entertainment system SYNC with touchscreen monitor and smartphone connection is moving into the three models. A keyless locking system is also new. The prices of the respective basic versions do not change for the new model year. The Mondeo is available from 25.570 euros, the S-Max from 30.400 euros and the larger Galaxy for 33.310 euros.
