ABT RS3 - 450 HP!

450 PS and 550 Nm presses the Kempten tuner from the 5 cylinder engine.

After an appointment at ABT in the Allgäu, the RS3, which used to appear incognito, is now also launching a tailor-made look.

The external foliation is dominated by a dull red with shiny pearl effects and a black offset rear area. In addition, the interior, which has been generously redesigned with black Alcantara, sets exciting contrast points. Silver-colored seams and color-coordinated carbon-look parts that create an optimal visual impact in this environment - as if they were exhibits in an art exhibition - act as sporty accents. The components extend to door entry and trim strips, seat covers, center console and seat shells, all of which also bear the ABT logo.

As far as bikes are concerned, ABT lives up to its history as a former blacksmith. The 19 inch ER-F is a real "Forged Wheel". Advantages of the forged wheel in comparison to the casting technique: a particularly dense material structure, which enables significantly more stable and thus lighter rims. To match this, the RS450 331 Individual, with its 3 / 450 ZR235 35 / 19 ZR30 size, strengthened by ABT Power S on around 25 PS / 102 kW carries from Continental. Springs provide more draft for the XNUMX millimeter at the front and XNUMX millimeters for more depth on the rear axle, which together means significantly improved driving dynamics. In addition to the specially developed ABT Engine Control control unit, a large intercooler and a sports exhaust system with four black-chrome tailpipes and a diameter of XNUMX millimeters are used as accompanying performance measures.

And if all these superlatives are not yet unique enough for one customer or another, ABT Individual's 2015-launched program offers a wealth of truly unique options. So the RS3 is definitely one like no one.

400 PS in the classy Golf Coupé

Those hungry for performance, to whom even the 310 PS / 228 kW in the new Audi TTS could not be enough, can now help with pleasure. The abbots show mercy on the supposedly weak and help with an XL power syringe to 370 PS / 272 kW or even 400 PS / 294 kW. "At the same time, we are increasing the maximum torque from 380 to up to 480 Nm," explains CEO Hans-Jürgen Abt enthusiastically. The Allgäu team also helped to develop the right opponent in the form of a 6-piston sports brake system for the front axle. If only the base engine with 230 PS / 169 kW is installed in the TT, this is also not a problem: Here ABT Power delivers 310 PS / 228 kW and a torque of 440 instead of 370 Nm.

By the way, the ABT TT can only decelerate marginally through bends - what is the ABT Sportstabilisatoren set for? Wheel spacers with 24 or 30 mm add dynamic accents - also visually. In terms of "perfect look", however, the Allgäu have much more to offer. Brand new full foils in gloss, matt, pearl or metallic. In addition, ABT Sportsline gives the edgy "TT-face" through a front apron attachment with stepped spoiler lip even more drama. Specially designed mirror caps complete the front view. If you see the ABT TT in the rearview mirror, you can usually admire its newly designed "rear end" a little later. Due to the fixed rear wing and the apron insert with offset center area, the vehicle looks much more "racier" overall, which is underscored by the ABT rear silencer with its four black chrome-plated tailpipes. In addition, a downpipe with Sportkat and ECE approval is available.

Alloy wheels in the new ABT FR design or, optionally, the wheels DR, ER-C and CR work on the perfect connection between asphalt and vehicle - depending on the model in 18, 19 or 20 inches with Continental high-speed tires.
