Conclusion: Driving report Honda CR-V

Advantages & disadvantages - conclusion:

Especially in the current plethora of SUV models, the CR-V offers something that other SUVs do not offer so clearly in this form: No false promises for off-road adventures. The CR-V is clearly an asphalt band hero who does not want to pretend to fulfill the bold dreams away from civilization.

Five courses and five seats
If you see the numbers alone, you have to regard the five-speed converter of the CR-V as stale. Honda does, however, as with all other things, no half things. Better a very good five-speed converter, as a half-baked six-speed machine.

The five seats of the CR-V are to be taken seriously, there is really room for the big family and thanks to the clever rear-seat folding options, the CR-V is really practical.

criticism courses
A door panel that is unfortunately all too easily impressed by the driver's leg, that is already the main point of criticism in the interior of the CR-V. I would classify the problems in the coordination of the assistance systems with the somewhat more specific German motorway traffic as “common”. The adaptive cruise control and the CMBS system are simply too comfortable for hectic everyday life on German autobahns.

The consumption:

  • Everyday driver without savings: 7.8 liter on 100 KM

Total score: 73 / 100 points

Honda CR-V 2.2 i-DTEC 4WD AT - the conclusion:

The more and more often I drive in an SUV, the better I like what they have to offer. In the case of the new HONDA CR-V, its talent on country roads speaks a clear language. Together with the quiet engine and the low wind noise, this fourth-generation CR-V is more than ever recommended not only for active families but also for frequent travelers.

Give the CR-V more attractive engines and replace the 5-speed automatic transmission with a new variant with more gears - then this SUV will continue to sell brilliantly in the future!
