The Italian design company Pininfarina has for the one based in China Hybrid Kinetic Group developed an electric car. The 5,20 meter long notchback sedan called the H600 now debuted at the Geneva Motor Show. A chrome-framed, continuous light strip at the rear and doors hinged in opposite directions are striking. Access to the interior is generous thanks to the lack of B-pillars. There is space for four passengers on the seats covered with dark brown leather, the trunk holds 500 liters of luggage.
The workplace of the H600 is tidy. When it comes to the display and operating concept, Pininfarina relies on displays and touch-sensitive surfaces. So there are hardly any switches or buttons. There is a digital instrument cluster, a giant display in the center console and a third digital display area on the right side of the dashboard.
The H600 is powered by electric motors that distribute 600 kW / 816 hp to all four wheels. The 1,9-tonner should sprint from 100 to 250 km / h in less than three seconds, and the top speed is limited to 1.000 km / h. The range is given over 60 kilometers. A battery developed by the Hybrid Kinetic Group and a 50.000 kW microturbine, which can act as a range extender for the drive while driving, are responsible for this large radius. The Chinese promise a long lifespan of 300 charging cycles and a high energy density of XNUMX wh per kilogram for their battery.
