For the model year 2017 has Hyundai The second i2013 generation, which has been available since 10, has been slightly revised. For the first time, the revved Mini will be presented to the public at the beginning of October at the Paris Motor Show.
Hyundai has only slightly modified the i10 in a few details. The newly set daytime running lights in the front stand out. Previously, there were angled LED diode strips in the lower outer corners of the front apron. In future there will be round LED lights in the upper corners of the radiator grille. At the rear there is a large black insert in the rear apron and round rear fog lights. After all, Hyundai will in future be offering chrome-plated door handles instead of painted in body color, as well as new wheel designs.
The interior of the i10 remains almost unchanged. The only noteworthy innovation is a more modern infotainment system for the top version with a seven-inch touchscreen, which thanks to Android Auto or Apple Carplay offers the possibility of integrating smartphones. In addition, Hyundai has expanded the safety equipment. A lane departure warning and a collision warning are new and each camera-based. Finally, the steering of the i10 was retuned to give the driver a more direct steering feel.
On the drive side everything stays the same: As an alternative to the 1,0-liter base engine with 49 kW / 67 PS, there is still the 1,2-liter Otto with 64 kW / 87 PS. The prices will probably also change only slightly: Probably the entry-level model will continue to be just below the psychologically important 10.000-euro limit.
