Indian FTR 1200 S - A motorcycle not just for Indians

The Indian FTR 1200 S is a real Indian for the road

In 1901 the Indian Motorcycle Company was founded in the USA. The large-volume V2 engines of the Indian bikes are well-known and legendary. Indian's trademark, an Indian head with feather headdress, is also world-famous. The manufacturer had to file for bankruptcy in 1953. After being taken over by a vehicle manufacturer in Minnesota, the future of this old American motorcycle brand now seems secure again.

Indian FTR 1200 S - A bike for pure individualists

The latest model, the Indian FTR 1200 S, is derived from the successful 750 Flat Tracker Indian. A 1.203 cm³ two-cylinder engine is installed in the series version. This delivers 120 hp with a maximum torque of 115 Nm.

Inspired by Indian racing bikes, the FTR 1200 S is a compact bike with a sporty riding position. A slim design, its adjustable chassis and the two distinctive exhaust pipes that run up the side make the Indian a bike for individualists. A perfect cafe racer that also catches the eye with its red tubular space frame and the many design elements.
