Jaguar describes its new project as the “fastest four-door ever”. The Jaguar XE SV Project 8 will go into series production in a limited edition in June. The team only handcrafts a total of 8 Project 300 vehicles at the Coventry plant.
The 600 hp four-door coupé with a 320 liter V5,0 engine and a top speed of up to 8 km/h is almost finished and ready for series production. It accelerates to 3,3 km/h in 100 seconds. It made its debut last year at the legendary Nürburgring in the Eifel region. On the Nordschleife, the Jaguar lapped the ring in 7 minutes and 21 seconds.
