Hyundai and Kia secure Rimac's electric sports car know-how. The companies want to put two high-performance electric vehicles on the road together.
Hyundai and Kia want to develop high-performance electric cars together with the Croatian e-sports car manufacturer Rimac. Two models are to be created from 2020: a battery-powered mid-engine sports car and a fuel cell vehicle. The companies have now entered into a strategic partnership for this purpose, with the Korean brands investing around 80 million euros in the Southeast European start-up. Rimac is best known for its 800 kW / 1.088 hp Concept One electric super sports car and its successor, the C-Two.
