Alexa can now also travel with you in your Huracan EVO
Lamborghini has had an optimized connectivity service offer for the Huracán EVO since the beginning of the year. It covers the areas of navigation, comfort, safety and entertainment. By networking with the Unica app, the existing real-time traffic information from Lamborghini Connected is supplemented with new services. These are vehicle search, vehicle status report and some geofencing features like remote speed warning and valet alert. The Huracan vehicle control with Alexa is now also available for the new model year.
In addition, over-the-air updates of the Lamborghini Infotainment System (LIS) are now available.
Huracan vehicle control with Alexa and Android Auto
Lamborghini integrates extensive vehicle control with Amazon Alexa. In the EVO, the driver can use functions simply by speaking such as controlling air conditioning and lighting, as well as navigation, calls and entertainment control.
The driver's attention is always focused on the road. From model year 2021, Amazon Alexa and Android Auto will be added to the well-known Web Radio and Apple CarPlay functions of the Huracán EVO with the “Smartphone Interface and Connected Services” equipment option.
Your Lamborghini EVO follows your every word
Alexa is also integrated into the LDVI system (Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata) of the Huracán EVO with all-wheel drive. With a simple voice command, the driving dynamics feedback can be called up in real time on the LIS display, such as torque distribution (torque vectoring), dynamic steering LDS (Lamborghini Dynamic Steering) and traction control.
With Alexa, the driver can also control compatible devices in his smart home, such as entrance gates, thermostats or lighting systems, directly from his Lamborghini.
Lamborghini Connected makes it easy to update all Alexa functions thanks to regular over-the-air software updates. The functions are offered in most countries in Europe and North America where Alexa is also available. Other countries are to follow by 2022.
Alexa upgrade for older Huracán EVO models
Owners of a current Huracán EVO can also use the new connectivity services. From mid-April there will be free upgrades at Lamborghini dealers.
The availability of the services depends on the individual markets. The collaboration between Automobili Lamborghini and Amazon enables regular updates to the Alexa functions used in Lamborghini supercars.
