The AMG racing boat resulted from a cooperation between the Cigarette Racing Team and Mercedes-AMG. The bright green Mercedes-AMG GT R was the inspiration for the arrow-shaped Marauder AMG racing boat, which was created for AMG's 50th anniversary.
The long racing cigar is consistently designed for high speed and dynamics. Carbon fibers have been used extensively in the construction, which keeps the 1750 Nm of torque of the racing boat under control. The sporty cabin layout is designed in racing style. Even the raceboat's electrical system has been weight-saved to maximize performance.

Up to 3.200 hp engine power in race mode
The Cigarette Racing Team 2017 50' Marauder AMG is powered by two Mercury Racing 1550/1350 QC4v engines, which deliver a maximum output of 2.280 kW (3.100 hp) to the M8 rear drives. The modern dual-calibration engines allow the driver to vary engine power with an electronic switch. "Race" mode releases a maximum of 1.103 kW (1.550 hp) per engine and requires racing fuel. In the "pleasure" position, the boat produces 993kW (1.350 hp) per engine and requires 91 octane fuel.
The AMG look of the racing cigar is unmistakable. A special logo was developed for the 50th anniversary of Mercedes-AMG and to commemorate the ten-year partnership with the Cigarette Racing Team, which is visible on the bow of the boat.
The unmistakable "Green Hell Magno" livery on the boat creates the connection to the Mercedes-AMG GT R and the legendary "Nordschleife" of the Nürburgring, on which GT R achieved an impressive lap time of 7:10,92 minutes. If there is only room for two people in the GT R, up to five daring passengers can take a seat in the Marauder AMG boat.
