Mazda CX-3 model year 2021: One engine, only with front-wheel drive

Mazda has refreshed its mini SUV CX-3. Now there is more equipment on request, but some things are also left out completely.

Mazda has revised the CX-2021 for the 3 model year. The mini-SUV, which was launched in the summer, is available with a modified radiator grille and new equipment features. The CX-20.850 will be available from October for around 3 euros.

The only engine is the 89 kW / 129 PS petrol engine, which, thanks to cylinder deactivation, consumes an average of 5,3 liters. With the optionally available six-speed automatic (surcharge: 1.560 euros, only for the Selection equipment version), the standard consumption increases to 6 liters. The 2,0-liter petrol engine with 110 kW / 150 hp and the 85 kW / 115 hp 1,8-liter diesel engine that were previously offered are no longer part of the range. Since all-wheel drive was only combined for these units, the CX-3 is now only available with front-wheel drive.

The 4,28 meter long CX-3, which is based on the compact Mazda 2, drives up with a more striking radiator handle, which, depending on the equipment, is framed by LED headlights, with matrix light on request, and with chrome trim. There are also new front seats; the Mazda Connect infotainment system is now part of the standard specification. In addition to an expanded range of assistants, a 360-degree camera is now available.
