Mazda Vision Coupe - A Ferrari from Japan

Mazda presented a minimalist design study with the VISION COUPE at the Tokyo Motor Show 2017. Which could also come from Maranello. A look at a new sporty Japanese coupé?

The Mazda VISION COUPE shows the KODO design language in a minimalist Japanese aesthetic. The result is a simple shape that still gives an impression of speed. In the interior, the Japanese concept “ma” (room) from traditional Japanese architecture provides three-dimensional depth and a relaxed feeling of space. The name of the design study pays homage to the elegance expressed in historic coupé models such as the Mazda R360, the brand's first passenger car, and the Mazda Luce Rotary, also known as the R130.
