66th International Motor Show in Frankfurt

The latest trends and technological highlights of the automotive year 66 will be presented at the 2015th International Motor Show (IAA) Cars in Frankfurt am Main. The world's most important mobility fair will take place from September 17 to 27, 2015. Around 1.000 exhibitors from 40 countries show their innovations, including over 210 world premieres. That is around a third more than last, add to that 26 European premieres and 30 German premieres. As at the IAA 2013, the exhibition space covers 230.000 square meters. This corresponds to 33 FIFA standard soccer fields.

The motto of the IAA is “Mobility connects” - and points to the mega trend of networked and automated driving, which, in addition to electromobility, will shape this automotive trade fair.

The IAA shows the global world of the automobile. That is what makes them so unique. And it is also the only trade fair that covers the entire value chain of the automobile: Around 400 suppliers are represented in Frankfurt - and of course almost all major automobile manufacturers. This underlines the great attraction of the IAA for exhibitors and visitors.

"New Mobility World" shows the most important trends in mobility

Of course, these topics can be seen and experienced on the exhibition stands of the manufacturers and major suppliers. In addition, the new exhibition area “New Mobility World” (H3.1) shows the most important developments and innovations in the new digital mobile world, which will be cross-industry. Therefore there are u. a. also companies from the telecommunications sector.

Test drives through the streets of Frankfurt

Eight manufacturers from Germany and abroad offer visitors the free opportunity to test their favorite models on a test drive on public roads and thus convince themselves of the performance of the latest electrically or conventionally powered models. A valid driver's license and identity card are required - and after registering in Hall 10 on the exhibition grounds, nothing stands in the way of the “joyride”, which lasts up to 25 minutes.

Driving fun for children

The little visitors to the fair will also be entertained: the IAA children's cinema (from 5 years) in Hall 4.2 offers a varied program. In addition, children between the ages of three and 13 have the opportunity on the outdoor area (F4) to take the steering wheel in their own hands for the first time and to develop driving pleasure in the LEGOLAND® driving school and test their driving skills. Here they set small electric cars from Hyundai in motion and also have the unique opportunity to get their first “driver's license”.

These and many other fascinating events and activities await visitors to the 66th IAA Cars from September 17 to 27, 2015 in Frankfurt am Main.

All information about the fair, e.g. B. special offers, opening times and ticket sales are on the Internet on the official IAA website www.iaa.de available.
