Actually, I really don't feel like it, but I have to say it again:
Mercedes-Benz, they're doing something!
While in Ingolstadt you don't really know what you really want, in Wolfsburg you have only just got up and you still sleep soundly in Munich, the Daimler Group is playing with its automobile brand: "Mercedes-Benz”The big trump cards in social media and new online media.
And I would like to point out again at this point: I am not a Daimler fanboy. If anything, I would have been an Audi fan. Although I am also absolutely the "Generation golf”Correspond. Man, that used to be my home in automobiles: Volkswagen and Audi. But what you can do in Stuttgart (not only in Sindelfingen, I'll come to Zuffenhausen later ...) tackles it, you do it right: all or not at all.
The best or nothing!
While I'm not completely convinced when it comes to cars (Zuffenhausen is closer to the slogan!) - the communication area “social media and blogger relations” realizes the advertising slogan of the star brand. Over and over again. Bloggers and other independent online users are taken seriously in Stuttgart. Another wonderful example of this wonderful new media relationship in the Daimler Group could be seen last weekend.
After I (but was probably not the only one) had bluntly told the Mercedes-Benz social media professional that I thought it would be very good if you held a driver training course with bloggers, something like that was actually carried out. How cool is that, please? But it also really made sense, because too often bloggers are invited and then hopp-di-hopp put in the 300 + PS boxes and Luzie goes off. Not every blogger is also an experienced driver. In contrast to the motor journalist (I assume driving skills there) - bloggers are sometimes less close to the subject of driving dynamics.
For me, driver training was clearly one of the basics that you should be able to demonstrate as a car blogger - or blogger with automotive topics. And this is how the bloggers involved experienced the Mercedes-Benz driver training:
And as always, when Jan (horny car) is there, there are of course moving images:
Where I was?
🙂 I would have been invited, too, but I think that more than 100 laps of the Nordschleife and a former Nat.-C license excused me ... (I still hope to be able to be active in motorsport again someday.)
