The 84. Geneva Motor Show sets the stage for a special presentation. The coupé version of the Mercedes S-Class has always been a dream for fans of the Stuttgart brand. It will not be any different at this world premiere, I am sure of that.

The S-Class Coupé embodies the claim of the brand with the star: “The best or nothing” in an impressive form. And lighter than any other model from the brand. Even if the production version has been significantly weakened in the design language compared to the S-Class Coupe Concept, no other Mercedes-Benz makes such a sexy impression even when it is stationary.

"Sensual Clarity"

The grille is powerful at the front and sits deep above the asphalt. The bonnet spans an enormous area. Two sharp creases interpret the bonnet of the classic sports car from the 1960 years. And even if the new S-Class Coupe stands on the road much more stretched than all other Mercedes models, tense as an arch, it clearly embodies the new design language at Mercedes.

Mercedes-Benz Head of Design Gordon Wagener likes to speak of the “sensual clarity” that lies above the shapes of the cool sheet metal with this new design line.
