Mercedes attaches to the S-Class after, with the new plug-in hybrid and with even more convenience.
The Mercedes S-Class costs around 580 euros as a plug-in hybrid (S 123.740 e), while the long wheelbase version costs 127.400 euros. Mercedes specifies the electric range as 100 kilometers according to the WLTP. The maximum speed in E-mode is limited to 140 km / h. The hybrid drive combines a three-liter six-cylinder with 270 kW / 367 hp with an electric motor with 110 kW / 150. The system output is 375 kW / 510 PS with 750 Nm. The plug-in hybrid can charge three-phase with 11 kW as standard. A 60 kW DC charger is optionally available.
In addition, Mercedes has expanded the safety and comfort functions for the rear of the S-Class. The cargo space package is now part of the scope of delivery. The trunk can be opened by means of a kicking movement under the rear apron. For a surcharge (524 euros), the MBUX interior assistant recognizes passengers in the rear and automatically extends the headrests. The automatic seat belt feeder in the rear (surcharge 357 euros) is integrated in the adjustable backrest of the seat and is therefore always in the right position for the passenger. The adaptive rear lighting (surcharge: 345,10 euros) adjusts the interior light in brightness and color temperature in several stages. If you are out and about in the long version, you can have your calves massaged. This function belongs to the “Executive” seats. These can be ordered for 1.250 euros.
