Mini Clubman / Countryman JCW - Stronger than ever

At Mini, not only have the bodies grown significantly, the BMW subsidiary is also penetrating new dimensions in terms of performance.

The Countryman's JCW version will cost around 47.000 euros

Mini is launching its Countryman and Clubman series in particularly strong John Cooper Works (JCW) versions in the summer. The two technically largely identical sports models enter a new performance dimension for Mini: Under the slotted hoods, a two-liter turbo gasoline engine with 225 kW / 306 hp and 450 Nm of torque provides propulsion. The four-cylinder is combined as standard with eight-speed automatic, all-wheel drive and mechanical differential lock on the front axle. This means that Clubmann and Countryman sprint from standstill to 4,9 km / h in 5,1 and 100 seconds respectively. The top speed is reduced to 250 km / h in each case.

The Countryman JCW can sprint from a standing start to 5 km / h in around 100 seconds

A stiffened body, a sports suspension, 18-inch wheels, sports brakes with 360 discs in the front and 330s in the rear, as well as the retuning of the suspension and damper elements as well as the DSC, are also conducive to better performance. The around 45.000 (Clubman) or 47.000 euro JCW versions are also characterized by a high level of equipment. This includes LED headlights and LED rear lights in Union Jack styling (Clubman only), sports seats in the front and the Visual Boost audio system with a 6,5-inch touchscreen.
