Mitsubishi presents the new Outlander at the IAA 2015!

On the 66. IAA will present the revised Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV to Mitsubishi. 

The new Outlander stands out with a striking front. It looks sporty and dynamic from the front - Mitsubishi wants to score in the interior above all with an increased quality impression.

With the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV, the Japanese manufacturer 2013 has introduced the world's first plug-in hybrid SUV. Like the i-MiEV, the PHEV Outlander can also play its part in the energy transition and become a building block in the smart grid. Thanks to the support of the bi-directional power supply, the PHEV also works as a buffer and power storage for the home's own power supply.

The Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV became the most successful PHEV within a very short time! In total, more than 70.000 vehicles have been sold. For the new model generation Mitsubishi has put at many points on hand and improved both equipment and processing. The Outlander PHEV now rolls from the factory on 18-inch alloy wheels. The design of the PHEV is also different from the classic Outlander. The interior gets a freshness cure and shines with new colors and decorative stitching.

30 detail enhancements reduce both wind and tire noise. Additional insulation and dynamic dampers ensure a more comfortable ride.

Improving the front suspension increases the ride and handling of the Outlander. Larger stabilizers reduce the tendency to roll.

Precise work on the PHEV powertrain ensures a more precise response to the gas pedal and also reduces the measured CO2 emissions from 44 g / km to 42 g / km in NEDC mode!

Mitsubishi is also offering an “all-round monitor” solution for the first time and also offers the integration of iPhone and Android smartphones with the new multimedia system.
