Newly registered e-vehicles in Germany

Electric vehicles don't have to be long to make it big.

The German e-vehicle market is led by a small model. In the first four months, the VW Up was at the top of the list with just under 9.900 units sold, putting the VW ID.3 (8.200 units) and Hyundai Kona (7.300 units) in the right place. This is based on figures from the Federal Motor Transport Authority (KBA), which Statista has prepared. A total of around 68.600 new e-vehicles were registered between January and May. The VW Up costs from 21.420 euros, minus the innovation premium of 9.570 euros, the 3,60 meter long Stromer is available from 11.850 euros. This makes it one of the cheapest offers at the moment.
