New electric vans: PSA puts Peugeot Boxer and Co. under power

Electric vans are trendy: PSA will launch numerous new models on the market in the coming years.

The French PSA group is expanding its fleet of electric transporters. At the commercial vehicle trade fair in Birmingham (until 2. May), the E variants of the large delivery vehicles Peugeot Boxer and Citroen Jumper will premiere. They should come onto the market in the course of the year. Two different range variants are offered: one with 225 kilometers and one with 270 kilometers (NEDC). The models are produced in the Italian plant Val die Sangro by technology partner BD Auto.

Electrified versions of the medium-sized models Peugeot Expert, Citroen Jumpy and Opel Vivaro are also planned for the coming year - in both passenger car and commercial vehicle versions. A year later, the new generations of Peugeot Partner and Citroen Berlingo electric city vans follow. The identical Opel Combo will then also be electrified.
