Company car users and other frequent drivers want Ford now lure with a “Business Edition” of the mid-range Mondeo model. The equipment includes, among other things, navigation system, cruise control and speed limiter. There are also heated seats, parking sensors at the rear and 16-inch alloy wheels. Two petrol engines with 92 kW / 125 PS and 118 kW / 160 PS as well as three diesels in the power range from 88 kW / 120 PS to 132 kW / 180 PS are available for the drive. The price list starts at 27.500 euros, the customer's advantage over the individual purchase of the extras is around 2.500 euros.
The Mondeo, which was launched as a sedan and station wagon at the beginning of the year, is currently one of the fastest-growing models in the middle class. In the first five months, the range of new registrations across Germany increased by almost 51 percent to 8.600 units. That's currently enough for the unusually good fourth place in the mid-range bestseller list. However, new models such as the Skoda Superb and the Audi A4 expected at the end of the year are set to overtake again.
