News: Ford Mustang - The icon is getting more expensive

Hardly on the market, the new generation of the Mustang has become more expensive: Ford has increased the prices of coupes and convertibles, both as four and eight cylinders, by 2.000 euros each. The manufacturer cites the deterioration in the dollar-euro exchange rate as the reason for the price adjustment for vehicles manufactured in the USA.

The entry into the Mustang family is now possible from 37.000 euros, then you get the Mustang Fastback with the 233 kW / 317 PS strong four-cylinder on board. The convertible with the same engine now costs 41.000 euros. The Mustang GT with the 310 kW / 421 PS strong V8 is available from 42.000 euros, openly it costs at least 46.000 euros.

The Mustang has been available for order in Germany since March, and the first customer vehicles will be delivered these days. According to Ford, the first official sale of the pony car in Germany is a success, and the volume planning for this year has been slightly revised upwards. 1.800 vehicles have already been sold, Ford expects 3.000 cars for the entire year.
