News: Hyundai i40 station wagon - double clutch for facelift

With a base price of 24.790 Euro is the lifted Hyundai i40 Estate can be ordered now. In the entry-level model, there is an 1,6 liter petrol engine with 99 kW / 135 PS, alternatively there is an 121 kW / 164 PS powerful 2,0 liter petrol engine with and two 1,7 liter diesel with 85 kW / 116 PS or 104 kW / 141 PS for optional. The powerful diesel and the small petrol engine can be combined with a seven-speed dual clutch transmission for the first time. For the more powerful petrol engine, there is also the option of an automatic torque converter with six stages. A manual six-speed gearbox is standard on all engine variants on board.

You can see the revved mid-range station wagon, among other things, a slightly modified front end and modified taillight graphics. Bi-xenon headlights, a high-beam assistant and camera-based traffic sign recognition are now available for the first time. The optional adaptive shock absorbers for the rear axle are also new. Air conditioning, CD radio and speakerphone are standard in all models. Compared to the previous model, the entry price has increased by 850 euros. Initially, the lift only affects the more popular i40 estate variant in Germany, which will be followed by the sedan, which is a good half a year younger.
