News: Mazda CX-4 - debut for the SUV coupe

Mazda presents its new crossover CX-4 at the auto show in Beijing (25. April to 4. May). The coupé-style SUV should also come to Europe at the latest 2017. The Japanese manufacturer is still only showing cut-out photos, but the design of the complete vehicle should be closely based on the Koeru study that was shown at the IAA last year. The more conventional sister model CX-5 will be the inspiration for the drive range - there are diesel and petrol engines with up to 141 kW / 192 PS and optional all-wheel drive technology.

Mazda is trending with the CX-4. BMW has been successfully offering coupé variants of its SUV for some time, most recently the mid-range model X4. Competitor Daimler is also likely to present its similarly designed GLC Coupé at this year's fair in Beijing.
