Although the segment of the Vans is not one of the most sought after, the Mercedes V-Class developed into a model of success: One quarter more vehicles than the predecessor model Vito, the Stuttgart sold in the first year after market launch. And customers like it exclusive and comfortable: Almost every second buyer chooses the second highest level of avant-garde equipment. For the new model year, Mercedes has therefore added new options to the portfolio, which will be presented at the IAA (17 until 27, September).
For the first time, Daimler now also offers the sporty AMG line for a Mercedes van. Among other things, a tighter sports suspension, which moves the Van 1,5 centimeters closer to the road, to the scope of equipment. Optionally, a suspension with variable damping is available. A visually enhanced, for example, a modified front apron with more distinctive air intakes and a rear apron in diffuser optics for a more dynamic appearance.
The van with space for up to eight people can also be ordered with an extended special equipment: From September, seat air conditioning is also available for the rear. Panoramic glass sunroof, a large center console with integrated cooling compartment and two iPad holders in the rear are added at the end of the year.
