News: Startech Land Rover Defender - Celebrate the end

After 68 years of production time is for the Land Rover Defender is now over. As a farewell, Brabus subsidiary Startech is now launching a special model of the angular off-road vehicle - and this is fittingly limited to 68 copies.

Based on the Land Rover Defender 110 Station Wagon, the Startech Sixty8 can be recognized at first glance by its gray-metallic painted body and its aluminum underride protection. As a contrast, the roof is black. With this exterior, the dino is designed to recall the Land Rover Series 3, which was built from 1971 to 1984.

The special model also has LED main headlights. The grille, bumper, air intakes, the front fenders and the light alloy rims are painted black. The rear windows of the original off-road rock are tinted. The interior was furnished by the in-house upholstery with brown leather that is quilted and has black contrast stitching. The headlining and sun visors are covered with Alcantara.

The Startech Sixty8 is powered by an 2,2 liter four-cylinder turbo diesel with 90 kW / 122 PS. It is available as a five- or seven-seater. It costs 67.990 euros, the seven-star is 2.000 euros more expensive.
