Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles is again represented at the leading trade fair for the roof and timber construction industry in Stuttgart this year. Between February 02nd and 05th, trade fair visitors can look at three versatile conversion options based on the Volkswagen Amarok or Crafter on the 220m² stand in Hall 9.
The two commercial vehicles are intended for different purposes. Volkswagen is supported by the partner bodybuilders Sortimo and Bott. Depending on the model, various wood construction materials and tools can be accommodated in the Volkswagen from Hanover. Thanks to variable modules, the tools should be easy, flexible and safe to transport.
The Volkswagen Amarok Atacama shows a rear extension from Sortimo in Stuttgart with three heavy-duty pull-outs, the so-called “jumbo units”. They offer a loading volume of 100 kg each on the rear of the pic-up. So you have plenty of storage space for large loads and can easily access them at any time. On the one hand, the jumbo units offer large recessed grips and robust telescopic rails, on the other hand, they are variable and can be installed according to requirements, thanks to the modular system. In addition, the Amarok offers a watertight load securing floor to which all kinds of heavy work tools can be attached.
The Volkswagen Crafter 35 4Motion is shown in two versions. Firstly, with an integrated workstation, which makes the transporter an ideal workshop and service vehicle. The partner Bott offers a comprehensive, modular shelving system as well as a complete workplace. The vehicle is supplemented by an underfloor generator that enables an independent energy supply. This means that machines and electrical devices can also be used on the go without any problems. On the other hand, a Volkswagen Crafter 35 with a high roof is shown. This is specially designed for carpenters and carpenters and, with its Sortimo van racking, offers a multifunctional transport, organization and work system. These include robust drawer housings and tubs made of powder-coated sheet steel. The individual parts can be freely combined so that you don't have to be restricted by your load. A standard load securing system is also integrated to prevent the work materials from slipping dangerously. So safety first - in work as well as in private life.
