Motorway construction sites almost always disrupt the flow of traffic. This year, however, not as strong as before.
Construction work on German autobahns is going faster. In the current year, the average construction time at the almost 800 daylight workplaces was around 224 days, according to a response from the federal government to a request from parliament. In the previous year it was an average of 237 days. The 24-hour construction sites were also faster; there the average working time fell from 113 to 82 days.
