New date for Faraday Future FF 91

Faraday Future was once considered a possible new star of the E-car-Business. After a few problems, the brand finally wants to get its first car, the Faraday Future FF 91, on the road.

After several delays, the electric car start-up Faraday Future plans to bring its first model to the road in the coming year. The start of production of the FF 91 crossover in Hanford, USA has now been announced for the summer of 2022. It is not known how many copies of the 772 kW / 1.050 PS strong e-mobile will be built in the first year. Initially, the brand's first car will be sold in the USA and China, and later also in Europe. A second model called the FF 2023 is to follow in 81, and further passenger car series and a small van are planned.

Company departures cause delays in the Faraday Future FF 91

The FF 91 was originally supposed to be on the road in 2018, later it was announced at the end of 2020. After a hype in the middle of the decade, Faraday Future had problems with financing and the factory in the USA could not be completed on time. In addition, one of the founders and the head of product development had left the company in the meantime. With the ex-Byton and ex-BMW manager Carsten Breitfeld, a new CEO took over the helm around two years ago.
