Opel Astra Design & Tech

Before the new generation of the Astra makes its debut in autumn, Opel is rearranging the equipment lines of its current compact model.

Opel offers the Astra in a new equipment line. Instead of the comfort level “GS-Line”, “Design & Tech” is now available. The equipment level, which lies between the basic variant “Edition” and “Elegance”, is available for all Astra engines and costs from € 81 in conjunction with the 110 kW / 23.780 PS three-cylinder petrol engine. The corresponding combination variant of the compact model is available from 24.900 euros. The surcharge compared to "Edition" is 1.300 euros.

The standard scope of "Design & Tech" includes 16-inch models, LED headlights, two-zone air conditioning, ambient light and a front camera that is responsible for the collision warning system with automatic emergency braking as well as for Lane Keeping Assist and the distance display. The number of assistants can be expanded for this equipment line. The assistance package (940 euros) offers an automatic parking assistant, blind spot warning, a reversing camera and traffic sign recognition. Those who book the “technology package” for 1.950 euros receive, among other things, matrix light, the infotainment Navi Pro, which is compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the option of wireless charging of the smartphone.
