V-Motion 2.0 Concept is a new name NissanStudy celebrating world premiere at the Detroit Auto Show (until 22 January). The futuristic Nissan vision is intended to provide an outlook on the future design language of the brand. In addition, the V-Motion is fully networked and also able to drive autonomously.
The elegantly extending over good 4,90 meter sedan with coupéartigem roof course is characterized by large, twisted-looking surfaces and sharp edges. Characteristic in the front is a three-dimensionally worked out and over the entire vehicle length extending v-shaped radiator grille. This central design element is flanked by smart-looking LED headlights. Thanks to the glass roof, which slopes slowly backwards in a wide arc, the V-Motion sedan looks almost like a hatchback model. A special highlight: If the V-Motion drives with autopilot, this is signaled by the illumination of the radiator grille and rear apron.
Thanks to the contra-entry entrance doors and the absence of B-pillars, the V-Motion allows a generous entry into a comfortably designed passenger compartment. Here, the Nissan study offers two rows of seats each with two separate seats separated by a continuous center console. The light-colored and copper-accented chairs create a contrast to the zebra wood, which has been extensively laid in the vehicle floor, among other things.
The tidy cockpit has a rectangular shaped steering wheel, which allows the driver a clear view of the powerful information display. The digital display extends far over to the passenger side. In addition to driving information, this also indicates the media offerings of the infotainment system.
Whether the V-Motion gives a concrete view of the next generation of Altima or Maxima, the Japanese keep for the time being for themselves. Also about a possible drive of the V-Motion Nissan has made no statement. (Mario Hommen / SP-X)
