In addition, Opel takes an automated transmission for the Adam in the program. The five-speed box is available in conjunction with the 51 kW / 70 PS strong 1,2-liter basic gasoline engine and the 64 kW / 87 PS strong 1,4-liter engine, each starting from the second trim level "Jam". The surcharge over the manual five-speed gearbox is 600 Euro. In addition, Opel claims a consumption advantage of up to 0,4 liters per 100 kilometers.
