For the Peugeot 2019 available from the end of 208 in Germany, prices are rising sharply. In the future, the basic version costs as much as some other manufacturers, the compact models.
SP-X / Cologne. Peugeot Germany has opened the order books for the new 208 and revealed the prices for the conventionally driven base as well as the battery electric variant. With internal combustion engine it starts for the five-door small car from around 15.500 Euro; in the case of the electrically driven variant, buyers must invest at least 30.450 Euro.
The e-208 is powered by a powerful 100 kW / 136 PS electric motor. The sprint time from standstill to Tempo 100 should be 8,1 seconds. Power supplies an 50 kWh battery, which allows up to 340 kilometers of range. Alternatively, the 208 1,2-liter petrol engine in three power levels (55 kW / 75 PS, 74 kW / 101 PS and 96 kW / 131 PS) and a 1,5-liter diesel with 75 kW / 102 PS to choose from.
Like, Active, Allure, GT Line and GT are the five features of the new 208. The equipment of the basic version includes air conditioning and audio system as well as fatigue warning, traffic sign recognition and emergency brake assist. The entry-level version of the e-208 is basically coupled to the next higher Active equipment, which also offers climate control, keyless entry system, rain sensor, electric parking brake and telematics services.
