The third generation of the Cayenne, introduced in 2017, is getting a new generation: in the future, Porsche will also be offering a coupé offshoot of its large SUV model.
At the end of May, Porsche is expanding the Cayenne range with a coupe version. The new body variant, which starts at prices starting at around 84.000 Euro, should emphasize visually and driving the dynamic talents of the SUV model. Visually, the roof line, which slopes down much earlier, gives a coupé-like impression, which is reinforced by a fixed roof spoiler and a roof edge lowered by two centimeters. Newly designed rear doors and fenders make the almost two centimeters wider Cayenne offshoot also sturdy. Another special feature of the body is an adaptive rear spoiler, which automatically extends from Tempo 90 to increase the contact pressure on the rear axle. In addition, the standard range includes a two-square-meter panoramic glass roof, which can optionally be exchanged for one made of carbon.

In the interior, the coupe offers a rear seat with individual seats, on which guests can enjoy good headroom despite the lowered roof. The trunk is generous at 625 to 1.540 liters. In the case of the turbo version, 25 or 30 liters are lost. The Turbo Coupé, which costs at least 147.000 euros and has a 404 kW/550 hp V8, is the top version and achieves a sprint time of 3,9 seconds and a top speed of 286 km/h. Alternatively, there is the Cayenne Coupé with a turbo V6 that generates 250 kW/340 hp and enables a sprint time of around six seconds and a top speed of 243 km/h.
