Porsche Cayman GT4: Small and snappy

As a champion of variant diversity brings sports car manufacturer Porsche a circuit version of the small sportsman Cayman on the market. The GT4 is based on the Cayman, but has many components of the larger 911, 911 S and GT3. From 85.776 Euro, the 283 kW / 385 PS can now be ordered as a strong two-seater, celebrating its premiere at the Geneva Motor Show (5 until 15, March).

The 3,8-liter six-cylinder boxer is derived from the engine of the 911 S, where it makes 400 PS. A six-speed manual transmission takes over the power transmission. In 4,4 seconds accelerates the Cayman GT4 from a standstill to 100 km / h, only at 295 km / h is over. For example, the three-inch two-seater version of the 911, the GT3, takes over chassis components and the brake system. Thus equipped the athlete places himself with a lap time of seven minutes and 40 seconds on the Nürburgring Nordschleife.

Externally, the Cayman GT4 is clearly seen as a high-performance model: Three striking air intake openings in the front and a large, fixed rear wing should provide enough downforce. Driver and passenger take place in leather Alcantara sports seats. The sports steering wheel is standard, other circuit extras such as ceramic brake system or Sport Chronopaket are also available.
