Porsche Panamera GTS - Gran Turismo Sport for the racetrack and everyday life

The new Porsche Panamera GTS rolls onto the asphalt. At Porsche, GTS stands for Gran Turismo Sport and has promised extraordinary Porsche performance since the legendary 904 Carrera GTS from 1963. The Panamera GTS is a sports car with four doors and is suitable for the sporty circuit as well as for everyday use.

The new Panamera GTS is powered by a modified V8 naturally aspirated engine with a displacement of 4,8 liters and developing 316 kW (430 hp) at 6.700 rpm. It surpasses the performance of the engine in the Panamera S/4S sister models by 30 hp (22 kW). The maximum torque also increases in comparison from 500 Nm to 520 Nm. The Porsche dual clutch transmission (PDK) transfers the engine power to all-wheel drive (PTM) without any interruption in traction. Particularly dynamic at the push of a button thanks to the standard Sport Chrono Package.

Porsche Panamera GTS - 4,5 seconds to 100 km/h

The new Panamera GTS is able to accelerate to 4,5 km/h in 100 seconds. Its top speed is 288 km/h. With an NEDC consumption of 10,9 l/100 km – with low-resistance tires only 10,7 l/100 km – the Porsche Panamera GTS is an extremely efficient sports car.

The main technical modifications are a body lowered by ten millimetres, more powerful brakes, more power and its sporty chassis with air suspension and PASM. The sportiest of all Panamera conveys this to the occupants and the outside world with its distinctive sound.

The family-friendly sports car shows its independence through clear design features in the front, side and rear areas as well as black contrasts. The interior is also consistently tailored to the sporty character with a SportDesign steering wheel, adaptive sports seats, shift paddles and exclusive GTS leather interior with Alcantara surfaces.

Its chassis makes the Panamera fit for the racetrack: as standard, the adaptive air suspension and the Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) take care of the connection between chassis and body and adapt themselves to the driving tasks at any time through level control, height adjustment, adjustment of the spring rate and electrical adjustment of the shock absorber system . Five millimeter thick spacers between wheel and wheel carrier widen the track on the rear axle so that the Panamera is even more stable over the track.

The necessary grip is provided by 19-inch tires measuring 255/45 on the front axle and 285/40 on the rear axle. The sporty Panamera is slowed down by the superior braking system of the Panamera Turbo.
