Who one Porsche With extra space for luggage wants, must in the future no longer necessarily choose the SUV Cayenne. From October, the Stuttgart offer the luxury sedan Panamera as a station wagon. The "Sport Turismo" called body version not only offers more storage space in the rear, but on request to a third seat in the rear. The prices start at 97.560 Euro for the basic model Panamera 4 Sport Turismo with 243 kW / 330 PS.
Visually, the Shooting Brake is similar to the B-pillar of the sedan, followed by a spacious station wagon, which ends in an extra large tailgate. At this there is, according to Porsche, "the first adaptively extendable roof spoiler in the segment", which should press the car safely at high speeds on the asphalt.
There is space for up to 520 liters of luggage behind the spoiler-reinforced tailgate, 20 liters more than in the normal Panamera. If the rear seat is completely folded down, up to 1.390 liters are available. That's about as much as in a rather small middle-class station wagon - and significantly less than the brand's SUV models. The Panamera station wagon is still the absolute loading master within the classic luxury class. In addition, in contrast to the sedan, it offers a third seat in the rear on request - but this is rather cramped, which is why Porsche calls the Sport Turismo a 4 + 1-seater.
The engine program includes three petrol engines, a diesel and a plug-in hybrid, all of which are coupled to four-wheel drive. Above the V6 entry-level model, the Panamera 4 E-Hybrid with 340 kW / 462 PS is priced at 112.075 Euro, followed by the 324 kW / 440 PS strong eight-cylinder gasoline engine (Panamera 4S) for 120.050 Euro and the V8 diesel (310 kW / 422 PS) for 123.975 Euro. Top model is the at least 158.600 Euro expensive Panamera Turbo with 404 kW / 550 PS. The surcharge over the sedan is between 5.000 and 7.000 Euro. (Holger Holzer / SP-X)
