ROWE Mineralölwerk GmbH is expanding its sponsoring engagement in the VLN Langstreckenmeisterschaft Nürburgring. Since 2009, the company, based in Worms, Germany, has already been represented as a sponsor in the world's largest recreational racing series at the Nürburgring Nordschleife. From the season 2017 ROWE is even more clearly present in the VLN: The logo will decorate the start number areas on all racing cars.
"ROWE has been a reliable advertising partner for VLN for many years," explains Dietmar Busch, Managing Director of VLN VV GmbH. "Against this background, we are very happy that the company will continue to expand its sponsoring activities in the future."
ROWE Mineralölwerk GMBH is an expanding company in the lubricant industry headquartered in Worms. 1995 was founded in the Rheinhessen-based Flörsheim-Dalsheim by the sole shareholder and managing director Michael Zehe, the company grew continuously, so that the company headquarters in the year 2000 was relocated to the Palatine Bubenheim. Due to increasing demands and further necessary production capacities, ROWE opened the 9. December 2013 the new headquarters in Worms.
"We have a lot in common with the VLN Langstreckenmeisterschaft Nürburgring," confirms Michael Zehe, who tops the list from 2010 to 2016 as driver in the team's Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG GT3 and in the new BMW M6 GT3-10Places and 2011 was even allowed to celebrate a victory in the VLN. "In the endurance championship our racing activities have started, and we have developed them very successfully. The VLN still provides us with an optimal platform for our marketing activities, so we did not have to think twice about expanding our commitment when the opportunity arose. "
ROWE replaces the tire retailer Premio Reifen + Autoservice on their start number areas, whose sponsoring contract with VLN expired after seven years at the end of 2016.
