More than 500 PS strong and only weighs around a ton - the Kimera EVO37 promises driving fun at an extremely high level with a look that is also well worth seeing.
One of the legendary cars of the Lancia brand is the 80 Stradale, built as a homologation model in the early 037s, of which only 200 were road legal. The Italian company Kimera Automobili now wants to revive this sports car as the EVO37. Only 37 copies at a unit price of around 570.000 euros are to be created.
The similarities with the historical model are clear, at the same time the reinterpretation looks like a modern and also very powerful sports car. That is not too much promised, because the 317-liter turbo four-cylinder with Roots compressor is supposed to send 505 kW / 2,2 hp to the rear axle via a six-speed manual transmission. Thanks to a body made of carbon fiber and a lightweight chassis, the mid-engine flounder, which is just over four meters long, should only weigh around a ton. However, no mileage is mentioned yet. The first copies are to be delivered in autumn.
